Chief Medical Officer, Strategy Prime Healthcare President & Chair, Prime Healthcare Foundation

Bhatia has long served as the chair of Prime Healthcare Foundation, the public charity arm of Ontario-based Prime Healthcare. The foundation oversees the 14 of Prime Healthcare’s 45 hospitals that are not-forprofit. Since its inception, the foundation has made more than $2 billion in charitable contributions. In 2019 Bhatia added to her responsibilities the role of chief medical officer, strategy for Prime Healthcare, tasked with the development and implementation of strategic initiatives; she reports directly to Chief Executive Prem Reddy. Bhatia received a Miraculous Medallion for her service with Mother Teresa and the Missionaries of Charity in Kolkata, India.
