WILLIAM AHMANSON

President Ahmanson Foundation

The Ahmanson Foundation supports and provides grants for arts and humanities, education, and health and human services in Los Angeles County. Before joining the organization, Ahmanson worked in banking and wealth management at Union Bank and Home Savings of America. In 2019 he received the Jack Webb Award from the Los Angeles Police Historical Society. In 2018, he received the Access to Justice Award from the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, and in 2017 he was granted the Cardinal’s Award from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Ahmanson serves on the boards at Caltech, Center Theater Group, Loyola Marymount University and the Petersen Automotive Museum.
