With 30 years of litigation experience, Steve Ma’s national practice includes securities litigation, shareholder derivative actions, and corporate governance disputes. As a seasoned trial attorney, he handles jury trials, bench trials and arbitration proceedings in both state and federal courts. He has extensive experience with securities litigation, including representation of individual officers, directors, members and investors involved in investigations by the US Securities and Exchange Commission and other regulators.

Ma helps lead Saul Ewing’s national securities litigation practice. He is frequently called upon to lead significant matters for the firm, and currently serves as lead trial counsel defending Sage Therapeutics, a biotechnology company, in a securities class action pending in the US District Court in the Southern District of New York.
