Amy Jane Longo, office managing partner of Ropes & Gray’s Los Angeles office, has nearly 30 years of experience in securities litigation, with significant first-chair experience both as a defense counsel and as a senior SEC trial attorney.

Longo served as the head of the SEC’s Los Angeles Regional Office trial unit for nearly five years, building a formidable reputation throughout the Southwest region. As a founding partner in Ropes & Gray’s Los Angeles office since 2022, Longo leads litigation and enforcement matters that span commercial and securities litigation, SEC and DOJ enforcement—particularly involving asset managers and public issues, and hot-button cryptocurrency issues, including for some of California’s most prominent investment funds, public companies, and private companies.
