On the plaintiff’s side, Childress serves as leader of Jones Day’s leading Insurance Recovery Practice and has led major litigation matters recovering billions of dollars for corporate policyholders. His experience spans state and federal trial and appellate proceedings across the United States, as well as London arbitration proceedings.

Childress led a decade-long litigation for World Trade Center Properties seeking recovery for losses arising from the tragic events of 11 September, a landmark engagement that exemplifies his skill in handling high-stakes matters. On the defense side, Childress brings to bear extensive experience representing clients in significant disputes, including having defended Union Pacific Railroad in high-profile litigation.
