ENDOCRINOLOGY Endocrine Fellowship Program Director UCLA Health

Dr. Stephanie Smooke Praw is an associate professor of medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. She also directs the fellowship program and education for the Division of Endocrinology. Her clinical and research interests are related to thyroid disease – including overactive and underactive thyroid conditions and thyroid nodules – and thyroid cancer. She lectures frequently on these topics and has published in the field of thyroid disease and thyroid cancer. Partnering with other program directors from the Association of Program Directors in Endocrine and Metabolism, she is leading the development of a national health equity curriculum for endocrine fellows.
