Warner Bros.’ “Elvis” and Paramount’s “Top Gun Maverick” topped the box office charts this week. “Elvis” is based on the life of the legendary Elvis Presley. It stars Austin Butler as Elvis and Tom Hanks as his manager, Col. Tom Parker. It earned $30.5 million domestically on its opening weekend. Presley died in 1977.
