WORLD PLAYERS:

The ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach are instrumental parts of the global economy. This special report takes a look at what’s happening at these two busy facilities, including the latest on a new rail project.

The ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach are two of the busiest in the world. Collectively, the two moved almost 1.9 million standard shipping containers in May alone — up 51% from 2012.
