RENÉE DELPHIN-RODRIGUEZ

Partner Crowell & Moring LLP

Without question an attorney to watch, Renée Delphin-Rodriguez brings a unique blend of law firm and in-house experience to her partner role at Crowell & Moring. She served as assistant general counsel to a Fortune 500 health care company and general counsel to a health care management services organization. Her broad understanding of managed care and value-based payment arrangements, combined with her corporate experience, allows her to effectively guide clients through complex transactions and provide strategic advice in a heavily regulated industry.

Delphin-Rodriguez is also passionate about associate mentorship and is active with Crowell & Moring’s affinity group for Black attorneys. During the pandemic, she initiated monthly check-in calls with the Black partners in the firm. These check-ins have fostered a sense of community and kinship among the Black partners.

She represented GigCapital2, Inc. and GigCapital3, Inc. (SPACs) in their initial public offerings; represented GigCapital, Inc. (SPAC) in its business combination with Kaleyra S.p.A.; and represented 99 Cents Only Stores in its going-private transaction, among other high profile matters.

Delphin-Rodriguez has also represented Berkshire Hathaway in several public company acquisitions, including its acquisition of Wesco Financial and Oriental Trading Company.

She also plays an impactful role in the community. She serves on the board of directors of Homeboy Industries, the largest gang rehabilitation and re-entry program in the world and also serves on the board of directors for Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, and commencing in July, she will serve as the co-chair of the board.
