Partner in Charge, Los Angeles Office; Chair of the Firm’s North America Securities Litigation Group Baker McKenzie

Perrie Weiner is the partner in charge of Baker McKenzie’s Los Angeles office, and chair of the firm’s North America Securities Litigation Group. He has innovated and heads the firm’s Lease Litigation & Restructuring Practice, which he formed to address client issues associated with COVID-19. Weiner also formed and is a leader of the firm’s SPAC Rapid Response Team, created to address recent SEC enforcement and related securities litigation issues associated with SPACs and de-SPAC M&A transactions, with a particular focus on Asian markets.

With more than 30 years of experience, Weiner’s practice focuses on securities litigation and enforcement matters and complex business litigation. He advises private equity funds, including hedge funds, broker-dealers, underwriters, placement agents and issuers in SEC and FINRA enforcement proceedings, and in white collar criminal proceedings.
