Keith Wesley, managing partner at Ellis George Cipollone O’Brien Annaguey LLP, has represented clients in over 100 intellectual property disputes in federal courts throughout the country.

Recently, Wesley prevailed in one of the first post-quarantine civil jury trials in the Central District of California, obtaining a willful counterfeiting verdict on behalf of fashion brand Brandy Melville against printon-demand leader Redbubble. He also obtained reversal of a summary judgment against his client in a published Ninth Circuit opinion that clarified and expanded upon the doctrine of reverse confusion in trademark matters. He also defeated at jury trial an over $48 million false advertising claim by pharmaceutical company Allergan against a leading compounding pharmacy (ImprimisRX), with the jury awarding less than $50,000. Wesley also represented the iconic video game brand Atari in a variety of intellectual property enforcement matters against print-on-demand companies that facilitated the infringement of Atari intellectual property.
