Byron McLain is a Los Angeles-based litigator and white-collar criminal defense lawyer at Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the firm’s Government Enforcement Defense & Investigations, Securities Enforcement & Litigation, and Distribution & Franchise Practice Areas. He also is a member of the ESG Team. McLain also works closely with the Health Care, Cannabis, and Sports & Entertainment Industry Teams. He also is the chair of Foley & Lardner’s Racial Justice and Equity Practice Group.

McLain is personable and strongly adept at articulating complex issues in layman’s terms across industries and at understanding the business impact of the legal advice that he provides. He is also dedicated to the community in which he lives and works and provides pro bono service and support to a variety of organizations that promote the greater good, including the John M. Langston Bar Association (Los Angeles-based African-American bar organization).
