Jordan recently led a legal team as co-lead counsel in two parallel, high-stakes lawsuits on behalf of high-profile Kuwait client, PVT Limited. The actions arose out of a total loss to PVT Limited’s G550 business jet, exceeding $20 million in damages. National Union Fire Insurance Company filed a declaratory judgment action against PVT Limited concerning property insurance coverage. PVT Limited came to Jordan’s team with denied claims and no expectation of recovery. Following two years of hard-fought litigation, Jordan recently secured favorable, global settlements in both cases that contributed to the client recovering approximately 90% of its losses.
