Alexander Calfo is a national trial lawyer who has received numerous accolades and awards for his verdicts on behalf of Fortune 100 companies in the pharmaceutical, medical device, automotive, toxic tort and heavy industry sectors in national multi-district litigation and statewide coordinated proceedings. Calfo has been awarded five of the Top 10 winning first-chair trial verdicts in California by The Daily Journal. His verdicts have also been named Top 5 nationally by Lexis-Nexis, and Courtroom View Network recently named another high-profile national verdict as the “Number One Impressive Defense Victory in the United States.”

Calfo was one of the first partners to join King & Spalding’s Los Angeles office, and has been instrumental in building the firm’s reputation as a West Coast trial powerhouse. The bulk of his current work is comprised of serving as a lead counsel for Johnson & Johnson in connection with claims pertaining to talcum-based products.
