Lee started BAM Ventures with Richard Jun in 2014 after a successful career as a tech entrepreneur. The firm, which recently raised its third fund, invests primarily in consumer-focused technology startups. The firm has also made recent investments in blockchain technology. Last year, BAM led a seed funding round for local Web3 startup The Non Fungible Token Co. Inc. and in March, the firm invested in cryptocurrency tax software developer BearTax Inc. Before establishing BAM, Lee co-founded multiple successful startups, including online legal services provider LegalZoom Inc., consumer products company Honest Co. Inc. and fashion subscription service ShoeDazzle.
