Smith is the senior managing director broker lead in Los Angeles for brokerage Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. In that role, he oversees agency leasing, tenant representation and industrial teams in downtown, the Inland Empire, West Los Angeles, South Bay and North Los Angeles, with a focus on growth initiatives. In the past year he exceeded revenue expectations, helped grow JLL’s L.A. Integrated Portfolio Services and recruited a number of new brokers. Smith has more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience. Before joining JLL, he was the regional director of leasing at Equity Office Properties, overseeing the company’s Westside portfolio of 4 million square feet.
