Porter is a founding principal and past chairman of Cresa, a real estate advisory firm that specialized in tenant representation and corporate services with more than 57 offices in North America. It was acquired by Cushman & Wakefield in May. Porter has been a broker for more than 40 years and has completed more than 75 transactions encompassing 3 million square feet of offices leases in 2020. He is a past chairman and member of the Los Angeles Business Council and the Los Angeles Commercial Realty Association. He is also an associate member at the Ziman Center for Real Estate at UCLA and an executive board member and past chairman of Kidsave International.
