National Managing Partner of Tax Baker Tilly

Weaver was appointed managing partner of Baker Tilly tax services in 2020. As such, he leads Baker Tilly’s national tax practice. He was instrumental in the November 2020 merger of Squar Milner into Baker Tilly during the pandemic. Weaver was the tax partner-in-charge at Squar Milner before the merger. During his 17 years at the firm, he assisted in completing more than 16 mergers and initiated the formation and growth of several specialty tax practices which led to a top 50 accounting firm ranking. Before joining Squar Milner, Weaver spent 12 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers and was a lecturer at UC Riverside for three decades.
