A former video streaming pioneer, Ryan says that he is bringing the “super funnel” to streaming. He’s working synergies for Paramount+, Showtime and Pluto TV to further subscriber acquisition and retention. Synergies include announcing in February three branded “SpongeBob” movies for Paramount+ that will arrive in 2023, which leverages the kids property that is owned by the company. Separately, Paramount+ subscribers will be offered Showtime discounts this summer. He was co-founder and CEO of supported streamer Pluto TV when it was purchased in 2019, and a year later was promoted to a bigger streaming role.
