WILLIAM CAPPS

Partner & Chairman, Corporate Department Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell Capps has represented prominent families in Southern California in matters of business and personal and succession planning. He has also worked with nonprofits and Fortune 500 companies in all aspects of complex transactions. In addition, Capps has represented the building materials industry and has been involved with strategic litigation management for major disputes. Capps earned a BA from Whittier College and a JD from UC Berkeley Law School. In 2020, Capps helped resolve long-standing litigation involving a large property in Oakland by positioning the properties for sale by a specially selected sales manager.
