Her practice focuses on the Consumer Financial Services and Infrastructure industries. Amid the pandemic, Manatt Phelps & Phillips offered virtual mediation, arbitration and depositions. Brown, a former California state treasurer, is the daughter of former Gov. Pat Brown and sister of former Gov. Jerry Brown. She was a Democratic gubernatorial candidate herself. Before joining Manatt, Brown worked at Bank of America and Goldman Sachs & Co. She also served as a commissioner of the Los Angeles City Board of Public Works.
