Wedbush is the president and chief executive of Wedbush Capital, a privately held investment firm that invests in private and public companies through sponsored funds such as Wedbush Capital Partners and Wedbush Ventures. Last year, Wedbush Financial Services, the parent company of Wedbush Securities Inc., closed a private placement of $50 million. Jonathan Malinger was brought on as Wedbush Securities’ managing director of investments. Wedbush Securities also welcomed Rodrigo Parrode as its executive vice president, head of technology and operations.
