Eghbali co-founded Clearlake Capital in 2006. The firm specializes in middlemarket companies in software, the industrial sector and a range of consumer services. Previously, Eghbali worked in private equity at TPG Capital. He has a BS in business administration and management from UC Berkeley. Clearlake’s total assets under management total roughly $30 billion. Clearlake celebrated its 15-year anniversary in 2021, closing out the year with 12 new platforms, more than 50 add-ons, and seven realizations in what the company called its busiest year ever. In February, Clearlake finalized the acquisition of cybersecurity, data intelligence, and IT operations management software provider Quest Software.
