Ng has led East West Bank’s transformation from a savings and loan association with $600 million in assets to a full-service commercial bank with more than $62 billion in assets. Bank Director magazine ranked East West Bank No.1 Performing Bank in 2021 and the top bank with the Best Board in 2022. Under his 30-year leadership, today’s East West Bank is publicly traded, and it is the largest independent bank headquartered in Southern California. Ng serves on the boards of Mattel Inc., USC and the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
