RACHEL MOORE

Chief Executive Music Center

Moore became chief executive of the Music Center in 2015 after serving as chief executive at the American Ballet Theatre, where she also danced for four years. Moore was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences as part of the class of 2020 inductees, which included 275 other artists, scientists and leaders in the nonprofit, public and private sectors. Moore leads the $70 million company that manages the Music Center campus and operates Grand Park on behalf of Los Angeles County. She also oversees the Music Center’s work as a presenter and curator of programming, and she guides its arts education initiatives for Southern California youths.
