Siminoff founded Ring in 2012 and stayed on with the company in the role of chief inventor following its 2018 acquisition. In September, Siminoff announced a new generation of Ring devices, including a new alarm system and a flying camera system capable of recording activity in multiple parts of a customer’s home. Before launching Ring, Siminoff founded and sold voice-to-text startup PhoneTag and email filtering service Unsubscribe.
