He has sold $8 billion worth of real estate in his career and in 2021 alone sold roughly $1 billion worth. Notable deals in 2021 include $87 million and $52 million sales on Pacific Coast Highway, a $40 million sale on Malibu Road and a $39 million sale on Cliffside Drive. Cortazzo joined Compass in 2019, leaving longtime employer Coldwell Banker Commercial Residential Brokerage. He is involved in numerous charities including Malibu Boys and Girls Club, UNICEF and Operation Smile.
