Founder Black Equities

Black, the founder of Beverly Hills-based Black Equities, has more than 65 years of experience as a real estate developer and owner. Black is a native Angeleno who served in the U.S. Navy. He co-founded KB Development and Management which from 1955 to 1975 developed more than 60 projects in Southern California. While president of the company, he oversaw a staff of roughly 200. After his partner at the company passed, Black formed Black Equities with his son Jack. The company owns industrial, office, multifamily and retail assets. Black and his late wife founded the Stanley and Joyce Black Family Foundation in 1989. It has granted more than $60 million to organizations helping underserved communities.
