Kennedy guides Star Wars and other intellectual properties to new galaxies. Disney-owned Lucasfilm is readying two spinoffs of the “Mandalorian” TV series for streamer Disney+. The muchanticipated “Star Wars: Rogue Squadron” expected to hit cinemas sometime next year. An adventure “Indiana Jones 5” is in the works as well. Kennedy reportedly received a contract extension last year. She joined in 2012, handpicked by legendary filmmaker George Lucas when he sold his business to the Walt Disney Co. She has produced or executive produced more than 70 feature films dating back to 1982 blockbuster “E.T. The Extra Terrestrial.”
