JOSEPH ZUBRETSKY

Zubretsky took over as Molina Healthcare’s chief executive in November 2017. Molina’s focus is on governmentrun health care insurance programs, including Medicare, Medicaid and staterun Obamacare exchanges. Upon taking the helm, Zubretsky focused on improving operating margins before launching a vigorous expansion effort in 2020. Last year, Molina Healthcare acquired a health plan in New York as well as Medicaid contracts in Texas. As of March, Molina served approximately 5.1 million members in 19 states. Prior to Molina, Zubretsky served as president and CEO for Hanover Insurance Group. Before that, he served in several senior executive roles at health insurance giant Aetna, including as senior executive vice president of its national business unit.
