Prior to starting Fifth Wall with Brad Greiwe, Wallace co-founded workforce optimization data and analytics firm Identified and Latin American ridesharing service Cabify. Fifth Wall, which focuses on real estate and retail technology startups, raised more than $1.1 billion across all of its funds in 2021. The firm also completed its first special purpose acquisition company (or SPAC) deal, reaching a deal with home automation company SmartRent Inc. that brought the company public through a reverse merger overseen by the venture firm. Wallace is also a prolific angel investor and, in this capacity, has purchased stakes in Space Exploration Technologies Corp., Lyft Inc., Dollar Shave Club Inc. and other companies.
