Vice President of Honey PayPal Holdings Inc.

Ruan co-founded Honey with Ryan Hudson in 2012, using $100,000 they pulled together from family and savings. The company, which created a deal-finding browser extension used by millions of consumers, was acquired by PayPal in 2020 for $4 billion. Ruan stayed on with Honey following the purchase, and the company continues to operate under its original brand. Honey’s logo now adorns the jerseys of the Los Angeles Clippers and the team works out at the Honey Training Center. Ruan founded and led a series of other startups prior to starting Honey. He now serves in a vice president role with PayPal.
