Umansky is the founder and chief executive of Beverly Hills-based boutique residential brokerage The Agency. Last year the company opened 11 franchises and in the first quarter of this year opened a handful of additional locations as well. Umansky is also a respected agent in his own right, having been involved in about $4 billion worth of sales in his career, $270 million of which was last year alone. One of his biggest sales was the Playboy Mansion, which was the first home in Los Angeles to sell for more than $100 million. He also sold the Walt Disney Estate and residences formerly owned by Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan and Prince.
