Firestone has been in the insurance industry for more than 30 years. He joined Gallagher in 2001 when it acquired a multiline regional insurance brokerage where Firestone was a principal. He oversees more than 600 retail property/ casualty brokerage employees in the Illinois-based company’s Southwest region. Gallagher, a Fortune 500 insurance broker which provides insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting services, announced a multiyear global partnership with the Special Olympics in 2020 to help scale Special Olympics sports around the world and was recognized by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation as a 2020 Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality.
