Co-founder & Chief Executive Goat Group

Lu and Daishin Sugano founded Goat Group – formerly known as 1661 Inc. – in 2015 and have since raised about $490 million in venture capital funding. The online marketplace for buying and selling authenticated sneakers has more than 40 million members and operates 16 facilities. In 2018 Goat bought Fight Club, a retailer with stores in New York, Miami and Los Angeles that curate collectible sneakers. Lu has a degree in computer science from UC Berkeley. Before launching Goat, LU worked at investment bank Lehman Brothers, which he left in 2007 to begin working on gaming apps, specialty food franchises and social dining app Grubwithus.
