Before Upfront, Nortman co-founded the children’s e-commerce company Moonfrye and also spent seven years at IAC where she co-headed the M&A group and acted as the senior vice president and general manager of Urbanspoon and Citysearch. Nortman is a founding member of All Raise, a VC-led group dedicated to increased funders and founder diversity and is a founder of L.A.’s professional women’s soccer team, Angel City Football Club. Upfront began the year raising $177 million for a new continuation fund with a portion of the money raised coming from a limited liability company that was registered by Mark Suster, Upfront’s managing partner.
