LETTER FROM THE PUBLISHER

On behalf of the Los Angeles Business Journal editors, reporting staff and research department, it’s my privilege to unveil the 2022 edition of the LA500, now in its seventh year. Each year, our team takes on the challenging (and rewarding) project of researching, identifying and highlighting the most influential, most powerful and most impactful business professionals in the Los Angeles region. In what has become a nearly yearlong task, we seek out and, ultimately, profile dynamic leaders who are driving innovation, creativity, community and industry.

The 2022 class of the LA500 was faced with challenges over the past two years that have pushed the boundaries of what many of us have faced in our careers as leaders. We’ve worked through difficult times and have been responsible for not only growing our businesses but keeping our company cultures intact, and thriving, through never-before-seen circumstances. We should all be proud of the way Angelenos have responded and the way our Community of Business™ has stepped up.

As we honor our region’s most impactful leaders, I want to thank our team of talented individuals for their commitment to producing the Business Journal each week. Our team continues to ensure readers are always kept informed and connected. From the weekly editions, online products and digital events, the staff at the Business Journal has continued to provide invaluable tools to our readers. I’m proud to work with such a dedicated group of media professionals who have all risen to meet the challenge.
